Genk

Een tijd geleden trokken wij eens naar Genk.
We bezochten eerst de C-mine. Erg mooi en steeds de moeite. Binnenkort is er de tentoonstelling 'THE WORLD OF TIM BURTON'. 
Op de site bevindt zich eveneens 'Studio Piet Stockmans'.
Nadien trokken we naar de Bibliotheek van Genk waar de tentoonstelling loopt van Leo Timmers.
Heel fijn om de originele tekeningen te zien van de boeken waar we al zo vaak uit voorgelezen hebben.
Niet ver daarvandaan ligt het nieuwe restaurant 'Pepe's'. Een 'must do' voor pizza liefhebbers.
Het was een fijne dag.

Some time ago we went to Genk.
We first visited the C-mine. Beautiful and always worth the effort. Soon there will be the exhibition 'THE WORLD OF TIM BURTON'.
There's also the 'Studio Piet Stockmans'.
Afterwards we went to the Library of Genk where the exhibition runs from Leo Timmers.
It is nice to see the original drawings of the books that have been reading so often to our children.
Not far from there is the new restaurant 'Pepe's'. A 'must do' for pizza lovers.
It was a nice day.
